We're getting ready for our 23rd Airstream trailer outing ... our 8th "long" trip. We've done this enough that the preparation is getting to be almost as fun as the going.

It was obvious that some trailer repairs and maintenance were needed when we returned from the trip south on April 24th. We took the trailer to Airstream in Jackson Center, OH in early May. Their repair center was backlogged 2 months. We left the trailer in their capable hands and got it back in early July. They replaced two outer skin panels, replaced a few interior rivets, fixed the floor covering that had come unglued under the table and repaired a door hinge. The work was nicely done.
We also have to replace the car and trailer tires. It will be very hot out west and we don't want any tire problems.
We plan to leave on August 13th.
